Jakob ben Luria was born on November 12th, 1920, in Schoten, the Netherlands.
His studies in religion and physics were abrupted by World War II.
During the war he was detained in a Nazi institution for human experiments.
He held several positions, but after a long sickbed from 1969 till 1972 he decided to devote himself fully to the study of the Torah.
Exactly four hundred years on the day after his forefather Yitzak (Ha Ari) Luria passed he started researching the Torah in a scientific way. Asking profound questions about every letter and word in the Torah and by using the numerical values of the Hebrew he received the keys to enter the most divine Torah.
His knowledge and understanding of the Torah was well known and unparalleled. Jakob ben Luria further developed and corrected his work until his passing. His work and studies are now available.
